Hard Times

One of my good friends has just gone through a very hard experience this past week. What I don't seem to get is why do bad things happen to good people. I mean... this is real life for crying out loud. It's not one of those Disney movies where the Prince defeats the dragon and gets the girl. No.... in real life, evil stays around forever. A lot of the times it seems like good things happen to the people that aren't so good all of the time. Most of the time, you could be the nicest person in the world and you would have something awful happen to you. My friend is one of the most life-loving guys that you could ever meet. He is a funny, nice, all-around good guy. Then, all of a sudden, something awful happens and the guy that was so awesome has left. He is filled with sadness and maybe even anger. But the good thing is, he has a ton of friends that are there for him and he has a lot of people who care about him.
